Catherine Church is the Founder and Artistic Director of Platform 4, devising The Paper Forest (1998), Animal Tales (2000) directing The World Is Round (2001) and 3 Greek Myths from a Lisbon Laundry(2001), Dr Heidegger’s Experiment (2002), The Visitation of Mr Collioni (2003-04) Claustrophobia (04/05), Shiver (2006) and most recently BLISS (2006).

She has devised many of P4’s cross art projects over the years, most recently:Mr Colin’s Christmas, a commission from The Drill Hall, London and Underwater Picnic: an installation for Bevois Town Primary School supported by Creative Partnerships. Catherine has worked as a Movement/Education Director forThe Royal National Theatre, Oxford Stage Company, Nuffield Theatre, Southampton,  Poole Arts Centre, Battersea Arts Centre and Watford Palace Theatre. She has been a workshop director for Shared Experience.
